Terms & conditions

Step 1: Confirming Your Booking

Booking is confirmed when this agreement is signed and any required deposit has cleared. Until then, dates may be offered to other clients.

Step 2: Deposits & Payments

Deposits are non-refundable. Full balance is due at least 2 days before your event. Extra costs on the day (overtime/special requests) will be invoiced after.

Step 3: Guest Numbers & Menu Choices

Confirm final guest numbers and menu at least 14 days before the event. Numbers cannot be reduced after this deadline.

Step 4: Minimum Charges & Travel

Nelson events under 30 guests: $1,650 + GST. Out-of-region: Min 50 guests or $2,450 + GST + travel.

Step 5: Cancellations

Deposits non-refundable. Within 30 days: 50% of total. Within 14 days: 75% of total.

Step 6 & 7: Weather & Safety

Client responsible for shelter. We use live flame BBQs; safety or fire bans may require changes to service style. No refunds for restrictions beyond our control.

Step 8 & 9: Responsibilities & Health

Safe level access and venue permits required. We comply with Food Act 2014. We cannot serve food supplied by clients (homekill, etc).

Step 10: Liability

Liability is limited to the total amount paid. We carry public liability insurance.
